Kingsmead was one of thrity five schools from the boroughs of Tower Hamlets, Islington and Hackney, who were invited to  Market Road pitches in Islington for a day's 'Premier League Schools Football Tournament', run by Arsenal.

Girls and boys, drawn from our school football teams, played in a mxed team and made it through to the knock out stages. Kingsmead were the only Hackney school to make it through to the knock out and managed 5th place in the whole tournament - a tremendous achievement for a single form entry school.

Ibz, their football coach said " I am very proud of the team. Their attitude towards everything on the day was impressive". Congratulations to them all!.
