Earlier this week the three schools in the LEAP Federation took part in a Year 5 & 6 girls            6-aside football tournament. This was the second LEAP Federation tournament Team Get Involved has organised this academic year, and it is safe to say the girls did not disappoint! All 6 teams that took part behaved well, displaying impeccable sportsmanship within an competitive environment. The teams were split into two mini-leagues, with the winners of each league (Gayhurst and Kingsmead) taking part in the final.  The final game was drawn at 1-1 after 7 minutes of normal play.  Kingsmead were the victors after the penalty shootout. Team Get Involved would like to thank the PE teachers from all 3 schools for helping organise this event and extends a massive congratulations to Kingsmead for winning.  Well done!!!
