At the end of last term we held two workshops on Effective Communication for our Turkish speaking families. The seminars were run by a counsellor from the Turkish Embassy and focused on communicating with children, roles within the family, how to encourage fathers to  be involved with their child's education, and making time to listen to your child. A good number of parents and carers attended and clearly enjoyed the opportunity to share their opinions and experiences.

We will be holding a further follow up workshop later this term.
