Nine girls from years 5 & 6 recently went to the Women of the World  (WOW) festival on the Southbank, where they found out all about the different careers and professions that women have. They took part in a ‘Guess Who?’ quiz, where they met various female professionals: a dancer, a labourer, an athlete, a scientist, a technician and an artist. Mariama in yr 6 said “I really liked doing the quiz but I got it wrong! The WOW festival made me think I really can be a  doctor which is what I want to be when I grow up”. Natalie and Julia who took the group said they behaved fantastically and made really great contributions to the discussions. Well done to all!
